Storage Engineer - IBM Spectrum Scale 12-Month Contract (ongoing) | Government Client | Parramatta-Based | FinXL Professional Services

FinXL is seeking a motivated and experienced Storage Engineer to join our dynamic team for a long-term project supporting a major government client based in Parramatta.

This is a 12-month initial contract, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career by working on enterprise-scale storage environments within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will contribute to key infrastructure initiatives, applying your expertise to medium and complex systems.

Applicants must have recent experience with IBM Spectrum Scale and the ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this).

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing and optimising IBM Spectrum Scale, IBM SVC, and IBM TSM storage environments.
  • Administering and configuring SAN Brocade Networking and IBM Tape TS4500 ATL.
  • Supporting and maintaining NetApp storage systems.
  • Troubleshooting storage performance issues and ensuring high availability.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to align storage with business needs.
  • Assisting with architecture, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
