Case Manager - Reservoir at Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria

Fixed term, full time position based in Reservoir for 12 months, with a potential additional role within the region. Salary band of $89,292 - $96,073 plus superannuation.

About This Role

Case Managers in the Court Practice stream are responsible for applying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending. This role uses case management practices to actively engage individuals and ensure responsive, targeted interventions to reduce their risk of reoffending.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviour
  • Motivate and influence individuals in the case management process
  • Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines
  • Monitor individual\'s compliance against order requirements
About You
  • Demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours
  • Builds positive working relationships and enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
  • Understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals
  • Practices modelling pro-social behaviours and motivates those around them
  • Pays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion
