About Your Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage the initiation through to successful delivery of asset improvement projects ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes and to achieve strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects through application of sound project management approaches, in accordance with Seqwater policies and processes and key areas of project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) or similar, including responsibility for controls and governance, risk management and reporting.
  • Provide site supervision (as Superintendents Representative) of construction contractors.
  • Lead and manage project requirements and teams through all phases Initiation to Close-Out Phase following the Seqwater Lifecycle Framework.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables using project reporting software.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and progress reviews with project team and stakeholders including performance, cost, schedule, and governance updates.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, business administration or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7 - 10 years' experience in project management of multiple complex projects of multi-disciplinary nature with values greater than $5M.
  • Qualifications for Corporate Membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management as a CPPM, or ability to gain qualifications within six months of appointment.
  • Experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve corporate goals and project objectives.
  • Class C Driver's Licence.

This position will be offered as an individual TFR package with an attractive salary and is a permanent full time role.
