We're seeking a Full-Time Trades Assistant to join our team at Gaffney Machinery in Somerset. If you're keen to roll up your sleeves, learn a bit of everything, and be part of a great local team — we'd love to hear from you.

Gaffney Machinery is part of the AEH Group – (Agricultural Equipment Holdings), a network of agricultural machinery dealerships across Australia committed to excellence in products and service. The Opportunity:

  • Assist all departments as required
  • General cleaning of all areas of yard site, machinery, and equipment
  • Routine servicing of agriculture and farming equipment
  • Assembling and predelivery of specialised agriculture and farming equipment
  • Operating and assembling a variety of machinery and equipment
  • Performing quality assurance on the product
  • Undertake minor repairs if necessary

About you:

  • Current forklift license would be an advantage
  • Experience working with agricultural equipment an advantage
  • Possess a current drivers' licence
  • Mechanically minded
  • A great work ethic with an understanding of the importance of a safe and clean work environment
