About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Assistant at Bert Newton in Highett. This is a Full Time position working Monday to Friday 09:30–16:30 in our Care Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
  • Work closely with the activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
  • Run our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favourite
  • Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake-offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations
  • Accompany residents on various outings
About You
  • Strong empathy
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A creative flair you\'re not afraid to let shine
  • Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is desired (but not essential for the right candidate)
