Key duties and responsibilities

Staff are required to have knowledge of and compliance with relevant ASA legislative requirements, government decision-making, and policy frameworks.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in government procurement (Commonwealth), specifically in preparing and reviewing procurement documents such as approval documents, requests for quotes, evaluation reports, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Proven experience leading and managing procurement processes, including ICT assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting.
  • Experience in developing and managing supplier contracts and resolving problems using vendor and procurement management expertise.
  • Knowledge and experience of government procurement legislation and organizational policies to conduct ICT vendor management.
  • Ability to prepare procurement documentation, undertake sourcing strategies, and support evaluation and client contract negotiations.
  • Experience in analyzing cloud spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost optimization strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the commercial IT environment.
  • Must hold and maintain a minimum NV1 security clearance.
  • Must satisfy a Nuclear Mindset Suitability Assessment (NMSA).

Criteria
