About the role

Greater Bank and Newcastle Permanent have come together to form NGM Group Ltd, a powerhouse in customer-owned banking. As our growth journey progresses, we're looking for two curious and outcomes-driven Business Analysts to join our Project Delivery team within the Operations division.

As a key link between stakeholders and delivery teams, you'll play a pivotal role in gathering business requirements, analysing data, improving processes, and supporting solution design. You'll work alongside project managers, Technology, and subject matter experts to turn insights into meaningful outcomes that improve performance, enhance the customer experience, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Elicit and document clear, actionable business requirements through stakeholder engagement.
  • Analyse business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
  • Support delivery teams by monitoring progress and resolving issues.
  • Create high-quality documentation such as business requirements, process maps, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate across business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Support continuous improvement by staying informed on best practices and industry trends.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in medium or large organisations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience mapping business processes and designing future state solutions.
  • Ability to gather, document, and manage business requirements across cross-functional teams.
  • Confidence working with Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency with analysis and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in financial services (desirable).
