The Opportunity -

BDA is looking for a Training Systems Operations Specialist who will join the P-8A Poseidon Training team. In this role you will provide courseware and scenario amendment to evolve P-8A Poseidon Training at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

As a Training Systems Operations Specialist within BDA, you will

• Conduct interactive and self-paced courseware development and amendment to meet customer requirements.
• Virtual mission scenario generation to ensure simulated training events meet operator requirements and course learning outcomes.
• Administration of Learning Management System to host courseware, assessment instruments, course enrollment and paneling for Aircrew and Maintenance Course sessions.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Have experience and/or an understanding of Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance and training methodology applicable to the synthetic training environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Learning Management System administration.
• Courseware manipulation and development experience using MS office and Adobe Creative suite of software tools, including generation of courseware animations and interactive presentations.
• Experience interpreting customer training requirements to ensure courseware reflects course learning outcomes.
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/22) or equivalent qualification.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
