As a Senior Training Advisor for Operations Support, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations team. You will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip our operations staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Your focus will be on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the operations support team.

This role will require travel around our state, averaging about 1 week per month intrastate. You are someone who can commit to regular travel and be motivated to work across our organisation. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, with the ability to communicate to a blue-collar workforce. You should be innovative, able to think outside the box, and capable of enhancing traditional training modules. A solid training background and ability to build MS training modules is preferred. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Leederville, WA, with a proposed start date of 20th October 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development and Delivery: design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of the operations support team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies and tools to maximize effectiveness.
  • Performance Evaluation: monitor and evaluate staff performance to identify areas for improvement; provide coaching.
  • Content Creation and Updates: develop and maintain up-to-date training materials and documentation; stay current with industry trends.
  • Mentorship and Support: guide team members in resolving complex issues and challenges.
  • Collaboration and Communication: communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation to ensure understanding of training programs and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: implement and oversee a process to enhance training quality and effectiveness; gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Ideal Qualifications
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment (or working towards)
  • Substantial experience in operations support, training, or a similar role
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs
  • Strong knowledge of operations processes, systems, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and inspire team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools
