Senior Project Manager – PPM

Are you a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade system replacements and implementations across complex environments? We are seeking a driven and experienced professional to lead a high-impact project within a respected Australian university.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

  • 950.00 a day + GST
  • Initial 6-Month engagement , with possibility of extension.
  • Hybrid working model.
  • Exposure to working alongside a well-established Australian Uni.

THE ROLE :

Lead the end-to-end delivery of major enterprise system implementations (PPM, ERP, or CRM).Oversee RFP and vendor selection processes, including evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding of system integrators.Manage third-party vendors and ensure alignment with internal governance, scope, and budget.Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, and business units to ensure successful delivery and user adoption.Support integration of PPM tools with ERP and BI systems.Champion change management activities including stakeholder engagement, user training, and adoption planning.Provide hands-on project planning using leading tools such as Planview, MS Project Online, Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, or Smartsheet.Maintain strong governance practices and reporting aligned with project portfolio management frameworks.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale system projects within complex environments (preferably in higher education).Strong understanding of project portfolio management (PPM) principles and governance.Skilled in managing RFP and procurement processes, with strong vendor negotiation experience.Experience integrating PPM tools with ERP / Finance or BI platforms.Demonstrated change management expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting capabilities.Comfortable working both autonomously and within large matrixed organisations.Formal project management certification : PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM (desirable).Change management certification such as Prosci (highly regarded).Previous experience in an Australian tertiary institution (highly desirable).Hands-on experience with tools such as :

Planview, Clarity, MS Project Online, ServiceNow PPM, Smartsheet.
