Work type:Part Time (Permanent) 30.00 hours per week
Schedule:Expected to work weekdays with the ability to cover Saturday and Sunday shifts, as required

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Scientist who will be responsible for:
- Performing manual and automated diagnostic testing
- Routine procedures from specimen reception to results
- Assisting with stock control
- Maintaining records and equipment in line with protocols
- Contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Participating in staff training and liaising with stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and quality procedures
To be considered, you will need:
- Bachelor of Science, Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), or equivalent
- Experience and skills in the discipline
- Knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting
- Ability to identify and implement quality improvements
- High level of independence and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment and problem-solve
- Attention to detail and accuracy
