About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Scientist who will be responsible for:

  • Performing manual and automated diagnostic testing
  • Routine procedures from specimen reception to results
  • Assisting with stock control
  • Maintaining records and equipment in line with protocols
  • Contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Participating in staff training and liaising with stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and quality procedures
About You:

To be considered, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science, Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), or equivalent
  • Experience and skills in the discipline
  • Knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to identify and implement quality improvements
  • High level of independence and commitment to quality
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and problem-solve
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
