Neurophysiology Scientist

The Role

An opportunity has become available for two Neurophysiology Scientist - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Deliver senior grade Clinical Neurophysiology investigations within a multi-disciplinary team
Contribute to clinical research activities with the neurodiagnostic work unit
Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload
Provide clinical practice supervision and contribute to clinical education

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

Tertiary degree in applied science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human anatomy and physiology is a requirement of this role
AHPRA Registration
Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Permanent full time and part time (minimum 30.4hrs p.f)
Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum, $ $69.55 per hour

Neurodiagnostic Services is part of the Neurology under medicine. Neurodiagnostic Services is made up of a small team of Neurophysiology Scientist, Senior Medical Officers and Administrative Officers and is based at Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.
