Overview

Fire Supervisor role at Ventia, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. Lead a high-performing team in a dynamic transport infrastructure environment and oversee the delivery of fire maintenance services across Transurban motorways and tunnel networks.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and coordinators
  • Plan and deliver fire maintenance works in line with safety, quality, time and cost requirements
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with KPIs and contractual obligations
  • Drive safety culture and SHEQ compliance across all sites
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and the client, Transurban
  • Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained, reporting daily site events, progress reports, and maintaining Asset Management System
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in a similar role with strong understanding of AS:1851 Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems (tunnel network experience advantageous)
  • Fire trade background with relevant QBCC Fire Licence
  • Driver's licence and Construction White Card
  • Supervisory, maintenance and contractual experience
  • Strong communication, time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Client-focused and professional with high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven with solid planning and organisation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (and ideally Maximo and FireMate)
