About the Role

Reporting to the GM Talent & Organisational Effectiveness, the OD & Capability Lead plays a critical role in building Bapcor's capability and culture through the design and delivery of impactful OD and learning strategies.

You'll lead the design, delivery, and implementation of learning programs, capability frameworks, and organisational development initiatives that drive performance and growth.

This is a hands-on role where you'll partner with senior leaders, P&C Business Partners and SMEs to identify capability gaps, deliver practical solutions, and embed frameworks that support leadership and functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design and deliver OD interventions that enhance team effectiveness, enable change, and build organisational agility.

Build and embed capability frameworks that support career progression, succession planning and performance development.

Partner with business and P&C leaders to assess capability gaps and co-create learning solutions.

Design and deliver impactful leadership development programs across frontline and senior leadership levels.

Leverage tools like the LMS and HRIS to improve learning accessibility, tracking and evaluation.

Apply evaluation frameworks to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.

Support broader talent, culture and change initiatives as part of a high-performing OE team.

What You'll Bring

6–10+ years' experience in OD, L&D or capability roles within complex organisations

Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise capability frameworks and learning programs

Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders on complex capability or change initiatives, with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

Ability to apply systems thinking to connect capability, leadership, culture and performance.

Skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement and managing competing priorities.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, coach leaders and stakeholders at all levels.

Confident working with data and evaluation methodologies to assess impact.

Curious, collaborative and action-oriented, with a strong customer and outcomes focus.

Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or related discipline.
