We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to provide procurement intelligence, analysis, and administrative support that drives effective, efficient, and value-adding procurement and commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will coordinate and deliver procurement reporting, cost modelling, and performance insights using data from multiple sources. Your insights will inform procurement decisions, support supplier performance, and drive process improvements, enabling stakeholders to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed spend models/cube using data from a variety of sources, providing insight into supply markets and internal demand analysis.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Develop and manage the procurement information and data framework/s to monitor compliance and improve procurement activity and performance.
  • Develop and implement procurement intelligence and reporting to meet business needs.
  • Manage, administer, and coordinate contract and procurement information and documentation.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Research and source new suppliers to expand procurement options.
  • Support cross-agency or whole of government initiatives.

About You:

  • Experience in procurement analysis or business analysis in a diverse organisation.
  • Awareness of government procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract processes and frameworks.
  • Sound knowledge of business analysis fundamentals and experience managing and coordinating data and information.
  • Experience in translating and presenting data as insights and information.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound experience with both ERP systems, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong coordination, organisation, and administrative skills.
