Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Account Manager for a full-time position in Australia, Sydney
Svitla is expanding to Australia We are excited to bring our award-winning global technology business to the Australian market. We specialise in providing quality IT resources to augment internal teams and deliver IT projects successfully. We utilize near-shore and off-shore resources to lower costs, address the IT skills scarcity challenge, and bring global capabilities.

About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to play a key role in growing Svitla's presence in the Australian market. As a strategic advisor and trusted partner to our clients, you will be responsible for both landing new business and expanding existing accounts, particularly at the enterprise level.
You will collaborate closely with offshore and onshore business development teams, technical experts, and engagement managers to develop and execute account strategies, pitch customized technology solutions, and help clients unlock ROI through software innovation.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role where relationship-building, technology fluency, and strategic thinking are critical.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of successful B2B sales experience in either:
- Technology Services (not software products), or
- External IT Recruitment/Consulting Agencies (not internal TA roles)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Account Plans that drive client growth and revenue
- Proven experience working in or selling to the Technology sector
- A strong and active network of at least 10 CIOs or senior IT leaders, with positive references
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and winning new business
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging C-level and enterprise clients
- 5+ years of experience specifically in Technology Consulting, GSI (Global System Integrators), or professional services
- Experience working with or selling custom technology solutions, dedicated teams, or offshore/nearshore services
- Familiarity with ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
- Highly driven and hungry for success, with a "hunter" sales mentality
- Strong integrity with a high standard of honesty, empathy, and professionalism
- Able to work independently in a fast-growing environment and collaborate across global teams
- Confident, consultative, and client-first in all interactions
Business Development / Client Acquisition:
- Identify and source new clients for Svitla through own harvesting activities.
- Work closely with a dedicated team of Business Development Managers (offshore) who will partner with you in assisting with research, CRM build/management, cold calling, appointment setting, and active campaigning.
- Work cohesively with Engagement Managers and technical experts to prepare for pitches and presentations.
- Act as a conduit between hunters, recruiters, project managers, and clients.
- Work cohesively with all other departments to ensure the resources and information are accurate for the pitch.
- Work closely with our strategic third parties like AWS to deliver value to our clients.
- Execute effective account management strategies to create, build, and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and share market insights in technology with clients, demonstrating leadership in technology and its application to the client's business ROI.
- Ensure each existing client has an account plan developed to grow loyalty and share of wallet.
- Nurture the existing client base for up-sell opportunities and increase revenue.
- Meet with private and public sector clientele at all levels, including C-suite executives and department heads.
- Review and lead the development of the sales plan to win each qualified opportunity.
- Prospect, target, and build prospective clients that fit the assigned market profile for Svitla services.
- Update, maintain, qualify, and forecast an expansive pipeline of prospects in HubSpot (CRM).
- Proactively identify and attend events and trade shows to form strong network connections and stay current on trends.
- Proactively identify and join community associations to form strong network connections and stay current on trends.
