We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Rang (Waiter/ess) to join the front of house restaurant team and help deliver these amazing dishes here at Latymer.

Latymer - Pennyhill Park's fine dining restaurant offering bold flavours in dishes using locally sourced ingredients inspired by the seasons. Awarded a Michelin star and 5 AA Rosettes, you can experience exquisite tasting menus for dinner.

Head Chef Steve Smith is widely regarded as one of the most inventive and gifted chefs of his generation. Renowned for his modern British cooking, founded on using the finest seasonal ingredients available. Steve has held a Michelin star for the last twenty years, also earning Five AA Rosettes, 8/10in the Waitrose Good Food Guide and winning a Catey Award for Chef of the Year in 2014.

The Chef de Rang (Waiter/ess) will be responsible for…

• Supporting with the smooth running of the restaurant
• Delivering excellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guests
• Assist with training and development of our Commis Waiters
• Assist in the set up of the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
• Seat guests offering them menus, drinks and providing explanations of the menu when required
• Ensuring the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after service
• Excellent knowledge of the menus to be able to offer guidance and make recommendations

Are you right for us?

Our successful Chef de Rang (Waiter/ess) will have;

• Experience as a Chef de Rang in a similar restaurant or Hotel environment
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• Immaculate presentation at all times
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage
• Ability to supervisor more junior team members
• A professional and proactive approach to guest service
• The ability to work under pressure and to multi task
• Good food and beverage knowledge
• Possess a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment
• Have a creative mind with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
