At Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, we are seeking a dynamic and results-focused Business Development Executive to join our elite Sales & Marketing team. This is your opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and immerse yourself in the luxury hospitality industry.
Job Description

- Drive revenue growth by securing new business and clients across all market segments.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers, positioning our hotel as the premier choice for luxury stays, meetings, and events.
- Actively identify new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales and networking.
- Deliver tailored proposals, manage inquiries, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client experiences from booking to execution.
- Represent Sofitel Gold Coast at key industry events and networking to enhance brand visibility and drive business.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a high EQ are essential.
- Proven sales experience, ideally in hospitality or a luxury-focused industry.
- A deep understanding of luxury service and client expectations.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset with a hunger for sales success.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with sales processes and systems; experience in Opera Cloud, or similar is advantageous.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills to engage high-level clients.
- A focus on exceeding KPIs and driving revenue growth.
- Willingness to work varying hours and travel within the region for client meetings, field sales calls and events.
