At Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, we are seeking a dynamic and results-focused Business Development Executive to join our elite Sales & Marketing team. This is your opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and immerse yourself in the luxury hospitality industry.

Job Description

  1. Drive revenue growth by securing new business and clients across all market segments.
  2. Build strong relationships with decision-makers, positioning our hotel as the premier choice for luxury stays, meetings, and events.
  3. Actively identify new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales and networking.
  4. Deliver tailored proposals, manage inquiries, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client experiences from booking to execution.
  6. Represent Sofitel Gold Coast at key industry events and networking to enhance brand visibility and drive business.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  1. A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a high EQ are essential.
  2. Proven sales experience, ideally in hospitality or a luxury-focused industry.
  3. A deep understanding of luxury service and client expectations.
  4. A proactive and results-driven mindset with a hunger for sales success.
  5. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  6. Familiarity with sales processes and systems; experience in Opera Cloud, or similar is advantageous.
  7. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills to engage high-level clients.
  8. A focus on exceeding KPIs and driving revenue growth.
  9. Willingness to work varying hours and travel within the region for client meetings, field sales calls and events.
