As a HSE leader you'll build health and safety capability by leading improvement initiatives, engaging and coaching leadership and mentoring others with the empowerment and support to make a real impact.

Key responsibilities

• Leading by example to engage, influence, and build trusting relationships across all levels of the business to embed our health and safety management system.
• Growing capacity in the health and safety team by mentoring and sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Driving the implementation of the health and safety strategy within your business area by turning strategy into focused improvement plans and managing them to completion.
• Leading incident investigations and embedding lessons learned in the organisation.
• Implementing risk management processes to drive risk-informed safety outcomes.

Be part of the solution

• Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline
• Experience in health and safety roles, preferably in resources or heavy industry
• Lead investigator qualification and experience (Essential Factors, ICAM, TapRoot)
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, industry standards and critical control management principles
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
