Workday Integration Consultant

We are a Workday partner company seeking an experienced Integration Consultant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining integrations within the Workday platform to enhance our organization's business processes. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of data and information.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop and maintain Workday integrations using tools such as Studio, CoreConnectors, EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reports.
• Utilize strong technical skills in XSLT, XML, and Java to create efficient integration solutions.
• Work with Web Services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards, to enable data exchange with external systems.
• Collaborate with functional and integration leads to understand and analyze business requirements, conducting working sessions with clients as necessary.
• Partner with clients and third-party vendors to design and implement technical solutions that align with business processes.
• Participate in Workday R1/R2 release reviews and testing, identifying the impact of new release features on existing integrations.
• Provide post-production support and assist with the implementation of integration solutions.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, developing alternative technical and functional approaches when needed to ensure project success.

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in integration development with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end integration solutions.
• Prior hands-on experience with Workday integration tools highly regarded, including: EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) – both inbound and outbound, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Integrations, PECI, and WECI.
• Proficiency in XSLT, XML, and working with Web Services/APIs (SOAP/REST).
• Background in HCM and/or ERP systems is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively — beyond just following predefined playbooks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proven experience in building strong client relationships.
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables, lead teams, and drive projects to completion.
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully within the Workday ecosystem.
