About The Role

We are seeking an IT Events Administrator to support Australia's live events. This hybrid role involves office-based system administration and field deployments at venues across NSW.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in L1/L2 support, field service, or multi-site support. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, providing technical support and client interaction.

You will work closely with clients and teams to ensure smooth IT operations, mastering Windows servers, access control, and data services. Our training and partnerships will support your success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT solutions for events nationwide
  • Provide on-site IT support for diverse events
  • Manage Windows OS (Windows 10/11, IoT, Server 2019/2022)
  • Install POS systems, printers, EFTPOS at venues
  • Maintain ticketing and access control infrastructure
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and respond to urgent issues
  • Use JIRA for issue tracking and reporting
  • Support and maintain servers, switches, WAPs
  • Configure VPNs and network services for events

Client & Venue Management

  • Collaborate professionally with clients
  • Support during high-pressure events
  • Keep accurate documentation and records
  • Respond promptly to service requests

About You

Experience: Minimum one year in IT support, ideally in multi-site or field roles, supporting end users and managing infrastructure.

Technical Skills: Windows 10/11, POS systems, VPNs, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, JIRA, Cisco fundamentals, server administration.

Professional Attributes: Strong communication, organizational skills, ability to handle equipment, and work extended hours at venues.

Requirements: NSW driver's license, willingness to travel, experience with entertainment venues preferred.

What Sets You Apart

  • Field service or traveling IT support experience
  • Knowledge of NSW entertainment venues
  • Experience with network deployments, mobile IT solutions
  • Cisco certification (CCNA) or similar
  • Knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience with access control systems
  • Full Australian driver's license
