Oral Health Therapists have a vital role to play in our success. By taking on certain key dental procedures, you'll enable us to see more patients, more regularly.
Oral Health Therapists are very much in demand, so you can expect a busy workload in an environment where you have the flexibility you need to balance work and life. Our well-managed appointment system means you'll have the time you need to deliver excellent patient care.
We are currently looking for an experienced, passionate, and customer-centric Oral Health Therapist to join the team as a Locum Oral Health Therapist. You will be required to travel to practices within the network in Adelaide for available shifts. For this position, we require a minimum availability of 2 days, as your shifts will be stint-based.
Please note this role is not applicable for Graduate OHTs, and a minimum of 2+ years of experience is required.
About you and the role:
- Assist patients in developing and maintaining good oral health
- Accurately interpret treatment plans, aims, and objectives, and maintain detailed clinical records
- Gather data relevant to the dentist's direction and assess patients' presenting conditions
- Adhere to infection control protocols and practices
- Provide routine dental treatments for people of all ages, including examinations and diagnosis
- Treat patients for oral health conditions, taking radiographs, applying fluoride therapy, etc.
- Actively promote comprehensive dentistry and active maintenance
