Key accountabilities of the role:
- You will lead the scrum team and own team delivery on roadmap and objectives.
- Participate in and facilitate relevant agile ceremonies and rituals.
- You will drive product development by working closely with developers, designers and cross functional teams in order to bring product requirements into implementable design and definitions.
- You will contribute to product roadmap and own the execution of roadmap in collaboration with your scrum team.
- You will develop new product ideas and experimentation plans via brainstorming, market research, customer interviews, discovery processes, and competitive analysis.
- Contribute to the wider product team through knowledge sharing and maintaining best practices.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Suggest product enhancements to improve the user experience and support our commercial objectives.
- Work with the product team to build a roadmap that fits with the overall product vision and objectives.
- Speak with customers to identify needs, validate ideas and collect product feedback.
- Translate customer needs into product requirements, by developing user stories, specifying acceptance criteria and testing needs.
- Work with the development team to deliver quality features and products that meet customer needs.
- Create support and enablement materials for internal and external users, including release notes.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to launch new features, drive adoption and gather needs.
- You will create detailed product requirements of new features while building and maintaining team backlog.
- Work closely with the Product Designers to translate concepts to wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
Key requirements for the role:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong execution of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- You are a team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High degree of creativity and drive.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- Jira software a plus.
- +4 years experience in building products, preferably in the SaaS B2B space.
- Hands on experience working in an agile product development environment.
- Payroll and/or workforce management experience a plus.
