We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman / Controller to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will oversee technicians and apprentices, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Mercedes-Benz Hornsby workshop.
What you'll be doing- Manage daily workshop operations, allocating jobs to technicians and apprentices.
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring to the workshop team.
- Ensure repair work and servicing are carried out to Mercedes-Benz factory standards.
- Oversee quality control, road testing, and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Monitor warranty repairs and compliance with brand requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all service documentation is completed correctly.
- Support staff development by keeping the team up to date with mandatory Mercedes-Benz factory training.
- Foster a safe, professional, and collaborative workshop environment.
- Has extensive experience working with European vehicles, ideally Mercedes-Benz.
- Has previous leadership or workshop controller/foreman experience.
- Possesses excellent diagnostic and technical skills.
- Communicates confidently and professionally with both staff and customers.
- Demonstrates strong organisation, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
