Overview

Media Assistant to the Director of Media. Expressions of interest are invited for the position of Media Assistant to the Director of Media.

This position provides professional executive support to the Director to ensure the smooth and productive operation of administration and office processes across the media team, maximising efficiency and managing the flow of information and documents in a timely way, including the external distribution of media materials.

We are seeking a confident and proactive individual who can work to deadlines, with a high degree of detail and accuracy in their work.

A strong focus on service delivery, strong IT skills and the ability to be highly organised in a fast-paced environment is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional executive support to the Director of Media and ensure the smooth operation of administration and office processes across the media team.
  • Manage the flow of information and documents in a timely way, including the external distribution of media materials.
  • Work to deadlines with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on service delivery, utilise IT skills effectively, and stay highly organised in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • At least three to five years' experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Strong organisational skills, a positive mindset and a commitment to contributing to a service-oriented and high-functioning team in the Office of the Premier.
  • Genuine interest in working for a political office and a commitment to the values of the Allan Labor Government.
