The team

The Evidence Services team provides evidence collection, management and analysis services using various databases and litigation support tools to assist ASIC's regulatory teams to review and present evidence in courts and other bodies.


The role

As an Evidence Services Consulting Analyst, you will work closely with investigation teams to implement established evidence review strategies, ensuring the appropriate use of technology and advanced analytics. You will provide advice to investigation teams on established evidence management and evidence analysis practices.


You Will Be Responsible For
  • Undertaking the preparation of criminal briefs and disclosure, civil discovery and administrative banning briefs using software such as Nuix Discover and related technologies, in accordance with established guidelines and practice notes.
  • Delivering training and provide support to investigation teams in the effective use of ASIC's evidence management systems.
  • Maintaining and administering ASIC's evidence management system according to established rules and procedures.
  • Actively participating in meetings of the national Evidence Services Consulting teams by discussing any emerging, unusual or interesting problems and ideas for potential solutions.

About You

With your demonstrated experience in consulting, eDiscovery and evidence management in a professional services firm, law firm or enforcement agency, you will have the technical expertise and specialist skills to assist ASIC in achieving impactful outcomes.


Your experience covers consulting on all stages of investigations and litigation, including eDiscovery, Technology Assisted Reviews, and evidence analysis and production for court or other decision-making bodies.


You Will Also Demonstrate
  • Experience and skills at managing stakeholder and service delivery expectations, responding to complex enquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to present complex information to different audiences.

Experience in the use of litigation support software such as Nuix Discover, Nuix Workstation, EDT, Access Data, Relativity or similar is highly desirable.
