Overview

Technology Innovation Engineer at SGCH, Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.

Location: Liverpool, NSW. This permanent role reports to the Head of Technology and Cyber Security and will work across SGCH offices as required, including Redfern.

Base pay

Base pay range: A$134,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

As a Technology Innovation Engineer you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies that drive business transformation and operational efficiency. Blending technical expertise with strategic thinking, the Technology Innovation Engineer designs and prototypes innovative solutions, integrates them into existing systems, and leads cross-functional projects from concept to scale. The role also supports stakeholders through collaboration, user support, and fostering a culture of innovation across the organisation.

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in tech development, systems engineering, or innovation, with strong knowledge of emerging technologies and digital transformation.
  • Experience with agentic AI, automation tools (e.g. RPA, Power Automate), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), APIs, and agile development.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery skills.
  • Proven ability to work with business acumen and a social heart and balance strategic SGCH goals with day-to-day operational needs, and the self-motivation, compassion and resilience to continuously improve and drive the delivery of best outcomes for SGCH and its customers.
