About The Role

We're on the lookout for a bubbly and experienced Medical Receptionist (2IC) to join our awesome team at Myhealth Helensvale, located right outside the Westfield. In this role, you'll be the first smiling face our patients see and the go-to support for our Practice Manager, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. We're after someone who's organised, great with people, and ready to jump in as a reliable second-in-charge. The role is across Monday-Friday with up to full-time hours.

Day In The Life

• Assisting Practice Manager (or lead doctors) with operational excellence
• Day-to-day reception duties
• Overseeing appointments and bookings
• Managing waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments
• Assisting with patient and doctor queries
• Utilising appropriate item numbers for appointments
  
  

What we're looking for:

• At least 6 months experience working in a GP Clinic setting
• Best Practice experience preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
• Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
• A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
• Flexibility with openings and closings

You'll have the backing of a Practice Manager and Area Manager, who will work closely with you to monitor and improve clinic performance. We also offer role-enhancing resources like regular training updates and group practice management learning sessions.
