About this opportunity

We currently have several opportunities for experienced Security Officers to deliver excellent customer service and emergency response at retail sites across Brisbane. Immediate starts are available.

Compensation includes award-based rates and allowances such as First Aid allowances where applicable. We offer opportunities for career advancement within our organization.

Full-Time, Part-Time, and Relief positions are available to suit your needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level security and customer service duties.
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling premises.
  • Responding to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance.
  • Assessing and responding to risks.
  • Access control.
  • Writing incident reports and maintaining data logs.

Pay Rate & Roster

  • Rates range from $27.13 to $29.79 per hour + super, depending on level.
  • Weekly First Aid allowance of $36.46.
  • Saturday rate from $40.70 per hour.
  • Sunday and overtime rates from $54.26 per hour.
  • Public holiday rate from $67.83 per hour.

Qualifications include:

  • Current Security License
  • Control Room License (highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Impeccable presentation
  • Flexibility for rotating shifts, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Professional attitude
