About The Role

This position will be located at the new Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services facility, which is introducing a new cook-fresh, on-demand Food Service model supported by an Electronic Patient Menu Management System (ePMMS). The purpose of this role is to order, receive, receipt, store and manage food supplies within a dynamic Food Service Department.

This position will be located at the new Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services facility, which is introducing a new cook-fresh, on-demand Food Service model supported by an Electronic Patient Menu Management System (ePMMS). The purpose of this role is to order, receive, receipt, store and manage food supplies within a dynamic Food Service Department.

Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.
  • Accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Food Safety.
  • Goal oriented, organised team player.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
