We are looking for experienced, imaginative & nurturing Early Childhood Educator superheroes who:

As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day… Through our play-based learning philosophy we are constantly reminded what a wonderous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener. Of course you will still be responsible for all of the compliance-based things like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children's progress, routines and interests - but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive.

At Sparrow Early Learning Somerville, we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we build with children, educators and families, always encouraging their input and to become more involved within the centre and community. We are located on Gomms Road, off the main road, tucked away in a residential street.

What you'll need:
  1. Certificate III & Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  2. Experience in engaging with young children
  3. Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  4. Current & Valid Working with Children Check
  5. First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
