We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Finance Analyst, Agribusiness to join our Finance team based in Perth's CBD. This role will involve infrequent travel to other Harvest Road Group sites as required.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will assist them to provide financial and management accounting and analytical support to Harvest Road's Agribusiness.

Your role will involve:

  • Assisting the Finance Team to maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation for the Harvest Road Agribusiness.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing financial business process improvements.
  • Performing weekly and monthly analysis providing an understanding of financial data including weekly sales, profit and operations analysis, cattle performance reporting and station cost analysis.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly financial reports and commentary.
  • Cash flow management and forecasting.
  • Assisting with preparation of Budgets and Forecasts.
  • Assistance in identifying potential areas for cost reduction and improvement in business performance and profitability.
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • CA or CPA qualified/part-qualified, or intending to gain certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of combined experience in public practice and commercial roles.
  • High level of verbal and written communication.
  • Proven ability to work constructively within high-performing teams.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a desire for identifying efficiencies
  • Providing business analysis and visibility for operational teams.
  • Experience in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis.
  • Proven Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, in particular a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • An understanding and appreciation for delivering internal and external customer service.
