Fetch Recruitment is seeking experienced HD Fitters / Mechanics for an ongoing project with various rosters commencing ASAP.

This is a great opportunity to work for a leading Mining Owner Operator with a long-term role available for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone available immediately who is seeking long-term employment. The role suits experienced mining HD fitters / mechanics with the ability to work independently and show initiative.

Must be available for an ASAP start, within 2 weeks.

  • Work involving workshop servicing, breakdowns, maintenance, and repairs of mining machinery (CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu)

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an HD Fitter working on mining machinery
  • Experience with a variety of mining equipment - trucks, diggers, dozers, loaders, graders
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Trade qualification
  • Availability for an immediate start
  • No contracting or sponsorship options available

Additional Requirements:

  • Positive attitude
  • FIFO ex Perth only
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to lead without supervision
  • Initiative and reliability
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
  • Two references for similar roles
