As a SCADA Engineer Multibrand, you will be supporting the Plant & Hybrid APAC as part of Power Plant Solutions under the regional CTO APAC department, assisting the organization in selling, installing, and servicing a large number of SCADA systems controlling medium and large-sized wind power plants. Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Capability to carry out detailed engineering of the SCADA Multibrand system, OFC Network, SCADA Multibrand installation, and configuration.
  2. Creation and review of Technical Requirement Specifications, Design Descriptions.
  3. Design and Troubleshoot Network issues (Remotely and/or on-site).
  4. Creation and review of Test & Verification Procedures and Reports.
  5. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for installed SCADA systems.
  6. On-call technical support to remote sites.
  7. Report on system status and coordination for updates.
  8. The SCADA Multibrand Engineer will be the primary point of contact for the SBU Region for all SCADA activities including technical advisory and collaboration with the APAC SCADA team and global SCADA Team regardless of the project phase (Sales, Construction, or Service).
  9. Interpretation and understanding of IEC 62443 cyber security standards for OT (operational technology) in automation and control system.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
  2. Experience in working with SCADA Multibrand systems, preferably in Wind Power Plants or the power industry.
  3. Experience in AB PLC programming and automation.
  4. Experience in communication Protocol (MODBUS, DNP, OPC, IEC, etc.).
  5. Familiar with fiber optic principles, termination, and testing equipment/techniques.
  6. Core competencies in networking fundamentals.
  7. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft OS, Server, and SQL including administrative functionalities.
  8. Awareness of IEC 62443 cyber security standards for OT (operational technology) in automation and control system is a bonus.
  9. Cyber Security qualifications or network certifications is also a bonus.
