Operations Manager

Austcorp Executive is partnering with a leading Australian-owned bulk haulage and mining services company. Due to their continued success throughout WA, the team is looking to recruit an Operations Manager for their Port Hedland Branch. This person will report to the Area Operations Manager.
This role involves managing pit-to-port haulage operations for one of the company's Tier 1 contracts. It is a full-time position based in Port Hedland, with relocation packages offered.
The Role
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and driver coordination
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure fleet operationality and compliance
- Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations, fatigue management, and safety procedures
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, costs, and delivery timeframes
- Ensure full compliance with Transport, Chain of Responsibility, and WHS legislation
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years experience in an Operations Manager / Supervisor role within the Transport, Haulage, or Mining Services industry
- Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Compliance, Chain of Responsibility, and fatigue laws (highly regarded)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with bulk haulage operations in the Pilbara (highly regarded)
