Auto Ingress automatic doors is a leading brand in the Australian market, with a Brisbane-based factory supplying products nationwide through sales offices and service agents.

We are expanding and seeking technicians and trainee technicians for our Perth office. The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing automatic door systems, including our own and other brands.

Key Duties:
  1. Assemble automatic door operators and components.
  2. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and specifications.
  3. Use test equipment to diagnose electrical and electronic faults.
  4. Install and commission automatic doors, programming controllers as needed.
  5. Install wiring for sensors, switches, and power supply connections.
  6. Maintain and repair automatic doors, roller doors, and gates, replacing faulty parts and suggesting improvements.
  7. Advise customers on proper use, upgrades, and repairs, and coordinate quotes.
  8. Assist with various service technician tasks as required.
  9. Be available for overtime and after-hours work on a scheduled roster.
  10. Maintain a clean vehicle and manage tools and stock responsibly.

Training will be provided; candidates with relevant experience are preferred.

Overtime and after-hours work are expected, shared on a roster basis.

Requirements:
  • Current driver's license
  • White Card
  • Police Check
  • Blue Card WWC
  • Connect/disconnect license (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Pride in appearance and workmanship
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Availability for overtime and after-hours work
  • Experience with NetSuite and Next Service is a plus

A fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, safety gear, and uniform are provided. Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
