We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - PEAC for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Role

At South Metro PEAC, our moral purpose is to ' Elevate Thinking and Ignite Wonder for Every Child' . This dynamic role invites you to apply your creativity and teaching expertise to cultivate deep learning for high potential students.
In 2025, more than 1000 students, excelling in the top 2% of PEAC testing, qualified to participate in PEAC (Primary Extension and Challenge). As a PEAC Teacher, you will design enriching experiences, leveraging student agency, structured inquiry, and transdisciplinary learning. Your role will involve collaborating with a small team to plan, teach, and assess students, applying differentiation for diverse learners. Building strong relationships and maintaining open communication with colleagues, parents, and mainstream teachers or schools will be integral to fostering a positive learning environment.
As a valued member of the PEAC Team, you'll collaborate with the Coordinator to provide professional learning and development to educators and school leaders across the region.
With PEAC spanning across various sites in the South Metropolitan, your flexibility to travel will be considered. A tentative list of host school sites can be found here, however please be advised that this may be subject to change: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ccf2KV1Au6BMrAdt9
Attendance at East Fremantle Primary School for staff meetings or collaboration is required, so you will need to have availability and willingness to travel to this host school site.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website .
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
