**Pay**: $33.38ph - $37.59ph

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you will be a team player, who is flexible and willing to support our centres and children when and where required. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

**You’ll achieve this by**:
Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team

Engaging and supervising the children at all times

Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members

Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families

Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures

Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

**About Goodstart Edgewater**:
Goodstart Early Learning Edgewater is a 57 place centre located in a convenient but secure part of our community, close to schools, shops and local facilities, as well as transport and main roads.

Our centre has highly qualified educators in the nursery and the toddler’s room and a qualified teacher in the Kindergarten / Preschool room and all our educators have a certificate in Children’s Services. Each room follows the Early Years Learning Framework which covers all your child's learning areas and needs in a play-based curriculum.

Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

We believe that a passionate and consistent team is the foundation for providing quality care and this reflects in both the attitudes and beliefs of our staff.

For our centre, child care is about creating fun, happy and loving environments for all children, where each child is cherished and valued. Children learn better when they feel happy and secure and we believe that it is vitally important to ensure that each child has an opportunity to grow and flourish.

Well thought out and purposefully planned, stimulating environments ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

We pride ourselves on ensuring excellent parent communication. This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
