Principal UI Developer – August

You'll be a core contributor on a multidisciplinary team, shaping large-scale, greenfield digital projects from day one. You'll own outcomes, steer technical direction, and deliver work that moves the needle with modern front-end technologies and a creative mindset at the intersection of design and development.

We are looking for a Principal UI Developer who is focused, collaborative, and committed to crafting immersive digital experiences that feel inevitable.

Your role at a glance
  • Building award-winning digital experiences and products for our clients.
  • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class services.
  • Provide enhancements and ideas for various existing projects.
  • Provide technical support, solutions and recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain high-quality front-end code for large-scale digital projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape user experiences.
  • Lead technical direction and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Mentor team members and drive best practices in accessibility, performance, and code quality.
Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ; familiarity with WCAG and a commitment to accessibility.
  • Experience with build tools (Gulp, Webpack, Sass, etc.).
  • Experience using WebGL, , Unity or similar technologies for animations and 3D experiences.
  • Experience programming in PHP with exposure to CMS platforms (headless and traditional).
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a flexible, team-oriented environment.
  • On-site availability in our Richmond office (or as otherwise arranged).
  • Knowledge of marketing theory and how design/development adds value.
