Support Worker - Yanchep & Two Rocks

Hourly rates ranging from $26.31- $35.68 + super + travel

  • Permanent Part Time position with a variety of flexible shifts available
  • All training provided, all you need is a willingness to learn

We work in partnership with people and families who need individualised support services due to disability, ageing or mental ill-health.

Avivo is looking for Support Workers to enable customers to remain living in their own homes and stay connected to the community. We have shifts available from Monday to Friday, 7am - 7pm. Let us know your availability, and we will try to accommodate We will provide all necessary training; all you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Duties will include :

  1. Personal care for daily living activities
  2. Domestic assistance (Cleaning)
  3. A range of clinical care, including administering medication
  4. Manual tasks such as hoisting, if required
  5. Meal preparation
  6. Social support, including assistance with community trips
  7. Regular communication with your local team
  8. Supporting a customer with cerebral palsy, if your skills and availability match

On-the-job training and buddy shifts are provided to develop competency across a broad range of skills

You'll need :

  1. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (essential)
  2. Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
  3. Ability to facilitate social connections and relationships for clients
  4. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  5. Ability to assist with physical tasks and mobility
  6. Willingness to perform high-care support, including bowel care
