Job Role: Heavy Vehicle Driver/Operator

About the Position:

  • Operate heavy vehicles with water jet/vac excavation combo trucks to carry out tasks in Melbourne.
  • Utilize vacuum excavation equipment for non-destructive digging operations.
  • Perform daily vehicle and plant cleaning, as well as routine maintenance checks.
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to legislative requirements, client expectations, and internal company policies on quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of sewerage systems, storm water pipes, and drain cleaning techniques.
  • Understanding of construction plans and drawings.
  • Ability to work reliably, punctually, and with high motivation.
  • Able to read and follow safety directions, maintain a clean appearance, and organize tasks effectively.

Essential Certifications:

  • Construction Induction Card (Red/White Card).
  • Victorian Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence.
  • Experience operating high-pressure water jetting systems an asset.
