Drill Fitters - FIFO (Zeal Engineering)

Our client, one of the largest drilling companies in Australia, seeks the services of Drill Fitters for a FIFO role out of Perth. This is an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend. Rates will be based on experience and are competitive.

About the Role

Working remotely in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, you will be required to carry out diagnostics and repairs to drill rigs, while working safely.

About You

You will need to have the following mandatory requirements:

  • Trade Qualifications - Cert III Mobile Plant at a minimum
  • Current Drivers Licence - C class manual at a minimum
  • Construction White Card
  • 4 x 4 Training
Other qualifications (not mandatory but highly regarded)
  • DG Class
  • WP Class
  • HR Licence
  • WAH
  • Senior First Aid
  • Crane or HIAB
  • AFFF Ticket
Experience / Equipment
  • Experience working on MD CAT Platform Drills
  • Leopards
  • D65's
  • Experience with Pit Vipers and DLM's will also be considered
  • RC Rigs
Other requirements

You will have the highest regard for safety in the workplace. You will be required to pass a medical including drug and alcohol testing; random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site. You will need to have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.
