Overview

Rehabilitation Consultant | Wollongong | OT / EP / Physio

This organisation has been established for over 30 years and is expanding due to their success focused on employee wellbeing, professional development and teamwork. They are seeking Rehabilitation Consultants to join their Wollongong team. The successful applicant will manage their own work schedule with referrals/clients within a 45-minute radius of home.

Full-time preferred; part-time considered with negotiable starting dates.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Enjoy a variety of working environments – external visits, work from home and office
  • Referrals are assigned based on your geographical area with most travel being a maximum of 35 minutes per appointment
  • Caseload of around 25 clients per consultant
  • Work with a variety of clients, performing 1:1 services, managing treatment plans and supporting return-to-work goals
  • Worksite assessments, pre-employment medicals, ADL and ergonomic assessments (training provided where required)
  • Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to clients with physical and psychological conditions
  • Liaise with external stakeholders
  • Complete reports and update progress notes

How you will be supported

Structured induction to help you understand processes and feel comfortable in the role. Each consultant is assigned a supervisor to create a personalised professional and career growth plan. Weekly or fortnightly mentoring with your supervisor and ongoing Professional Development courses throughout the year.

What You Will Need
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • No previous Rehab Consultancy experience required
