Hours Per Week: 20 to be worked over three days between Monday and Thursday, with some flexibility

Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.
EPIC-ND is a multisite randomised controlled trial evaluating a social prescribing program for children with neurodisability and their parents/carers.
- The program identifies unmet social needs (e.g. housing, transport) and supports families to access appropriate services.
- The Community Linker (Allied Health Assistant) provides practical support, including navigating services, making referrals, completing forms, and booking appointments.

- Completion or enrolment in Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant or working towards similar or equivalent certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively with health professionals in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional.
- Experience working with children and their families within a healthcare setting or in an alternative capacity, including priority populations (e.g. children with chronic and/or complex care needs, culturally and linguistically diverse families, families experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage)
