Ideal Candidate / At Radford

A successful candidate will be an energetic educator who creates engaging and dynamic learning experiences. Candidates must:

  • Demonstrate the ability to teach Years 7–12 in Creative Arts (Visual Art, Ceramics, Photography, Media)
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach BSSS and/or IBDP courses
  • Be passionate about teaching and innovative thinking
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to grow professionally
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Participate in pastoral and co-curricular programs and student wellbeing initiatives
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Support Radford's strategic priorities and uphold its values
Qualifications
  • Qualifications and experience in teaching Years 7–12
  • Teaching qualification recognised by the ACT Department of Education
  • Maintain registration as a teacher with the Teacher Quality Institute, including WWVP
  • Current First Aid Certificate
