Overview

Clinical Manager - Aged Care, Tamworth

Join a passionate and supportive team that puts people first. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Manager to join Tamworth Community Aged Care, a 144-bed residence. You will work closely with the Residential Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our future residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversee delivery of high-quality care in a large aged care environment
  • Collaborate with the Residential Manager and support services to ensure effective care planning and delivery
  • Support staff supervision, development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilise clinical knowledge and assessment skills to drive positive outcomes for residents
Qualifications
  • Ideally 2+ years experience as a Clinical Manager or similar role in a large aged care environment
  • Excellent and up-to-date clinical knowledge and assessment skills
  • Experience in staff supervision and development
  • Working knowledge of funding and accreditation processes
  • RN Qualification with AHPRA Registration (current, unrestricted)
  • Empathy, strong communication, leadership, team collaboration and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work with technology and digital records
Essential Requirements
  • National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check for NDIS homes
  • RN Qualification with AHPRA Registration
