Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support application remediation and cloud readiness projects. You will play a key role in modernising legacy environments, providing application support, troubleshooting issues across on-prem and cloud platforms, and ensuring smooth transition of workloads into the cloud.
Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Responsibilities
- Remediate and support legacy applications to enable Azure cloud adoption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Work with database backend systems, APIs, and other integrations.
- Conduct pre-migration assessments, testing, and post-migration validation.
- Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver migration outcomes.
- Provide Level 2/3 application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in application support.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, middleware, and integration points.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, monitoring, and ITIL processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification; cloud certifications highly regarded.
