Lead Consultant Psychiatrist

The Lead Consultant Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to the Adult Rehabilitation stream and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program more broadly as directed/required. The Consultant Psychiatrist will work in partnership with the Manager/Team Leader to ensure that services provided to the community are the highest standard, emphasising excellence, service, care, staff performance, cost efficiency, research and education within a comprehensive clinical governance framework.

- Mental Health Specialist Services, comprising of Forensic services, Family Violence specialists, Social and Emotional Wellbeing Team, Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness (FaPMI) team, and our Personality Disorder Clinical Specialists
- Brief Intervention Team (BIT) and HOPE and,
- Community Care Team.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent post graduate specialist qualification.
