We seek a casual educator to support children at our Newbridge Heights OSHC services in Moorebank, NSW 2170. Opportunity to move to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Our Children's Services Team are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 47 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before and after school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning. Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment.
About your new role- You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
- You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
- You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career
- Y NSW staff love supporting their communities, and our educators innovate learning everyday
- Y NSW OSHC Educators are motivated to develop children outside of the classroom
- Everyone at the Y NSW ensures that we provide supportive service for families
- Everyone at the Y NSW is committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments
- Experience supervising and interacting with children
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
- Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
