Sydney, New South Wales, Australia YMCA NSW Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Our Children's Services Team are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 47 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before and after school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning.

Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment.

  • Inspire and influence young hearts and minds
  • Create valuable opportunities outside of the classroom
  • Opportunity to progress and develop in a supportive environment
  • Above award rates + Educational Leader allowance

We seek a permanent part-time educator to be the Educational Leader and support program and practice for children at our OSHC services in Forestville on Sydneys Northern Beaches.

During times when the Coordinator is not on duty, you will be required to step up to cover the Responsible Person's duties at the site.

Before School Care 7.00 am to 9.00 am Tuesday to Thursday

After School Care pm to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday

You must be available for the required schedule for your application to be considered.

Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 50 NSW Schools, they provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you'll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure our services stay the very best they can be. This isn't your typical 9-5 role – and if you bring the dedication, focus and commitment, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a career in education, where you can build a schedule that works for you. So if you're excited by the opportunity of a promising career creating meaningful opportunities for young people who need them, you'll almost certainly learn a thing or two yourself.
